| Salary £24,054 - £27,852 Per annum | Permanent (2x fixed term available), Part Time, 22.2 hours per week I Early Help - Lancaster I Pro Rata

1x Permanent post covering (22.2hrs over 3 days) Family Support Worker (Grade 6) Lancaster

1x (22.2hrs over 3 days) covering 12 months secondment, with a view to being permanent.

1x (29.6 over 4 days) covering 12 months secondment, with a view to being permanent.

Fantastic opportunity to join our Family Intensive Support Team.

We have 3 posts become available as a Family support worker, this is an excellent opportunity for any experienced support worker who has knowledge and working experience of working 1:1 with families providing Family intensive support, early help, and targeted support.

Family Support Workers are operational frontline delivery staff in our 'Family Intensive Support' (FIS) team and work in Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth and surrounding areas.

The successful candidates will carry a caseload of children, young people, and their families with unmet needs up to the thresholds for statutory services, with more focus on intensive support (Level 3 CON). As case holders, they will undertake appropriate assessments of their needs in line with Lancashire Early Help Assessment and progress appropriate planned responses.

Family Support Workers will undertake the 'Lead Professional' role where appropriate in cases which require multi-agency support for families/CYP, coordinating support and informing the plan. FSWs are responsible for developing and delivering SMART action plans designed to address identified unmet needs and use agreed tools to measure the progress made by families/individuals towards substantial and sustained change. They will record their work fully and appropriately within agreed management information systems and will be line managed by a Senior Family Support Worker-FiS.

Flexible working is required, and some evening, early mornings and weekend delivery may be required to meet the needs of families.
